News from the farm A
number of years ago my life mate, Kim Roberts, and I eased ourselves
out of the typical urban work world. Kim's background is in forestry
and tree nursery management. Mine is in landscape architecture and
construction. We were looking for a place and a lifestyle to raise
our six children. We moved out to the country and "bought the farm".
 Kim
now has the time and inspiration to pursue his scenic
photography and I have the time and space to create herbal teas.
Our farm , located just east of Beaverton Ontario, is organic. Growing the herbs ourselves allows us to control the quality of the products we make.
We consider ourselves very fortunate to have found this little niche north of Toronto and every day we thank the creator for giving us the courage to venture down this exciting path.

We are also a member of WWOOF Canada which is a global organization set up to connect travelers with host farms thoughout the world. By taking part in this wonderful program we have been able to introduce ourselves and our children to the various cultures of our world while at the same time having a lot of fun.
